Wu Swee Sin

Wu Swee Sin is MP & Silva’s Managing Director, Asia Pacific, responsible for overseeing company operations across the region, excluding China, Japan and Korea.
He joined MP & Silva in February 2017 and is an accomplished sports executive with over 25 years of international management experience in the sports and entertainment industry in Asia. Well-versed in the sports industry, his extensive experience spans across developing and leading commercial strategies across sponsorship, media and licensing rights brand management, research, digital, social media, client servicing as well as sponsorship activation.
Before joining MP & Silva, Swee Sin held joint roles at Lagardere Sports Asia as Senior Vice President of Commercial Football Asia, and Country Manager for Greater China. He oversaw all football commercial activities in the region including strategy development for sponsorship, media and licensing rights for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) as well as the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
He held various prominent leadership roles throughout his career. Swee Sin was Regional VP & General Manager of WWE Asia Pacific, and was responsible for the company’s Content, Live Events and Consumer Products businesses. At WPP/Group M, Swee Sin was Managing Director – Asia of the group’s Global Sportnet unit, focusing on European football commercial rights. At IPG/Octagon, Swee Sin worked at the international headquarters in London before relocating to the Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore to manage the region’s media rights and strategic alliances portfolios. At the Walt Disney Company, Swee Sin was the marketing lead of the consumer products unit, and was responsible for developing brand, product and channel strategies across Disney’s extensive portfolio of brands.
